Vaccine Policy

On Vaccines

At our practice, we believe that vaccination is a deeply personal decision, and that you deserve a physician who will walk alongside you through it — not lecture you from across the room.

Dr. Maghen’s approach is rooted in education, trust, and partnership. We will never turn a family away based on where they are in their vaccine journey. Instead, we take the time to sit with you, answer every question without judgment, and help you feel genuinely confident in the choices you make for your child.

For families who prefer a more gradual approach, we are happy to administer vaccines one at a time, and we will always wait until your child is feeling their best before proceeding. Your child’s comfort and your peace of mind matter to us just as much as their immunization record.

We follow the CDC and AAP recommended schedule and believe strongly in the science behind vaccines — and we also believe that the strongest protection comes from an informed, trusting relationship between a family and your doctor. That relationship starts here, and it starts with listening to you.
